Agile and self-organized – most decisions that we make, we make independently, whether it is in the Munich office or among the consultants spread across Germany. Our guiding principle is the question: “What is best for our customers?”. The management is elected by ourselves, and an elected core team advises the management on strategic matters. The company Coverdale is owned by Coverdalers, and together we provide impulses several times a year for the continuous development of our organization and our personal development. Our customers benefit from our experience as entrepreneurs in a virtual network organization.

In 1965, Ralph Coverdale founded the management consultancy "The Coverdale Organization" in London.

Our
History

Founded in 1965 by Ralph Coverdale.

In his first training program, Ralph Coverdale, who had a degree in psychology,  wanted managers to experience that they are not forging steel, but leading people. Therefore, he designed an experimental space that enabled them to try out the right approach for each situation through self-experience. This laid the foundation for the Coverdale method and embedded experiential learning in our DNA. In the meantime, this learning approach has been scientifically confirmed, further developed and anchored in the Coverdale system worldwide.

 

The spectrum of our CVs and personalities is as colorful and diverse as our pictures. And yet, in addition to the Coverdale values, the quality standards that we uphold in  our work for our customers, as well as our unwavering focus on goals and processes, there are three things that unite us:

  • Training & development: The 1.5-year training program for trainers and consultants at Coverdale is just the beginning. We offer all Coverdalers the opportunity for continuous targeted and individual development. In addition, regular reflection on our work through supervision and intervision is part of how we understand ourselves in our role.
  • Leadership experience & industry knowledge: Coverdale trainers are familiar with the problems and challenges of everyday leadership, collaboration and project management in large and small companies, across various industries – from their own experience and from a variety of roles.
  • Internationality & diversity: All consultants work multilingually and have gained practical experience in various countries and cultures.

Our network

When we reach our limits, we do what we recommend to our customers: We get support from other professionals. Through long-term collaborations and partnerships with experts and organizations that complement and enrich us according to the needs of our customers. We are open to completely new connections and inspirations and follow the principle: Whatever makes sense for the customer is allowed.

Our consultants have worked in 80 countries worldwide and are based in offices in Europe, North America, and Asia. The Coverdale network spans across many countries around the world: the UK, Germany, Austria, France, Czech Republic/Slovakia, India, China, and the USA.

 

There are Coverdalers everywhere who share our values of Humanity, Discovery & Achievement and who guide and accompany customers in a process-oriented manner following the experiential learning approach. A constant exchange among each other as well as regular face-to-face meetings are highly identity-forming and natural for us.
